How We Work Safely.

Job Site Assessment

Every job begins with a thorough site assessment to identify hazards — structural instability, electrical risks, contamination, and air quality concerns — before any work begins.

PPE Selection & Compliance

Personal protective equipment is selected based on the specific hazards present. Respirators, Tyvek suits, gloves, eye protection, and steel-toed boots are standard on all remediation jobs.

Containment & Negative Air Pressure

Mold, asbestos, and lead jobs require full containment with negative air pressure systems to prevent cross-contamination of unaffected areas and protect building occupants.

Chemical Handling & SDS Compliance

All chemicals used on NER job sites are documented with Safety Data Sheets. Team members are trained on proper handling, storage, and disposal procedures for every product we use.

Electrical & Structural Safety

Water-damaged structures present electrocution and collapse risks. We de-energize affected circuits, assess structural integrity, and establish safe work zones before any crew enters.

Incident & Near-Miss Reporting

We maintain a zero-tolerance near-miss reporting culture. Every incident, near-miss, and unsafe condition is documented, reviewed, and used to improve our safety protocols.
